Graduation Ceremony and Plant Visit of Project WeMentorship Mentees
Jubilant strives to create an ecosystem that aims to flourish the young women and make them well prepared for the manufacturing industry requirements. With this purpose in mind, the WeMentorship project was brought into existence in collaboration with the Head Held High Foundation (HHH). .
Total 20 mentees of Technical trade from Govt. ITI college were shortlisted for the 80 hours training on relevant topics - career Guidance and 21st ventury skills. The training was undertaken by the trainer of HHH Foundation at Govt. ITI College, Amroha.Towards the end of this session, a plant visit was conducted for the mentees followed by an interaction with Mr. Anil Khubchandani - Co-CEO & Whole time Director- Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, Mr. Vijay Srivastava – COO, Mrs. Vinita Koul – SVP & Head HR, Mr. Vivek Prakash – VP & Head CSR, Mr. Hitendra Awasthi – Site Head, Gajraula and Mr. Amit Joshi – Senior Director, HR.
The graduation certificates were handed over by the dignitaries to all the mentees.
Gram Samriddhi Kendra – Training and Orientation Session
Gram Samriddhi Kendra (GSK), a joint initiative of the JBF and B-able foundation to create a one-stop solution for the farmers from where they can purchase cattle feed and animal nutrition products.. These specially curated ‘Kendras’ will also provide trainings on cattle feed, animal nutrition, farming techniques. With the idea of building a community, a three days training has been initiated for the 25 selected Kisaan Mitras by the B-able foundation.
In addition to this, a training cum orientation session of 40 Kisaan Sathis and Kisaan Mitras was organised at the JBF training centre mentored by Mr. Vivek Prakash, VP & CSR Head - Jubilant Ingrevia Limited and Mr. Ved Prakash Sharma, COO - B-able foundation. . This program would be catering to around 18,000 farmers.
Certificate Distribution Program:
A farewell along with the certificate distribution for the school pass out students have been organized at Upper Primary School, Gajraula 1st, Khungawali and Primary School, Tigri. JBF team has been invited as the chief guest for the event. The school students performed a cultural program in the event.
Pond Restoration by JBF at Shehbazpur Dor
The pond at Shehbazpur Dor was revived and restored by JBF team and made accessible to public. At Jubilant, we understand the importance and preservation of the natural resources available to mankind. Therefore such efforts motivate us to keep going and make our surrounding a better place to live in.
JBF Applauds and Awards the Enthusiasm of Saral Jeevan Sahelis
Certificates were awarded to Saral Jeevan Sahelis (SJS) of Frontier Market on the successful completion of their digital course. The certificates were given by Mr. Vivek Prakash, VP & Head CSR - Jubilant Ingrevia Limited.
Frontier Market (the largest tech-first, women-led social commerce platform) was established with the aim of providing a respectable platform to the women and turn them into entrepreneurs. It provides end-to-end solutions to rural customers via technology and create women entrepreneurs. The strong network of 12,500+ women entrepreneurs called Saral Jeevan Sahelis leverage their social community. It provides an additional source of livelihood for the Self Help Group (SHG) women.
’Digital Sakhi’ a rural distribution platform initiative of Frontier Market at Gajraula promotes rural women entrepreneurs to connect with the consumers from the nearby areas through an e-commerce platform. At present, a total of 545 SJS have been on-boarded. These Sahelis will reach out to their network to accumulate orders for products (ranging from FMCG, Agriculture & Electronics) through door-to-door visits in their respective villages. In return they earn a commission for every order received.

Launch of ‘End TB’ IVRS System by Minister of State
To amplify the impact of the END TB campaign, JBF collaborated with the Amroha District Administration to launch END TB IVRS (Integrated Voice Response System) and the END TB portal in the presence of Mr. Sanjay Singh Gangwar - Minister of State for Sugarcane Development and Sugar Industry. Mr. B. K. Tripathi, D.M - Amroha.
Pashu Sakhi Project Update
JBF in partnership with The Goat Trust started two livestock projects – Goatry and Poultry. In this, 500 goatry farmers and 100 poultry farmers have been registered till now. So far 10 Pashu Sakhi’s (also called Health Agents) have been trained who are in turn helping these farmers on animal health awareness. The grading & selection of new Pashu Sakhis is underway. Total 78 artificial inseminations, 164 deworming and 94 treatments have been done under the goatry project. In poultry, monitoring of chickens is currently ongoing.
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre (JBFMC) and Ayushmaan Card Campaign
JBF began a community health care service to provide affordable medical facilities. JBFMC conducted mobile health camps to strengthen the health care facility in the area. In the month of March, 1342 outgoing patients were registered and 1238 patients were registered through mobile dispensary. Total 115 Ayushmaan cards have been delivered so far.
CLAP Project (Continued Learning Access Project)
In order to address the issues related to online education, HP in collaboration with JBF started the CLAP (Continued Learning Access Project) project. This initiative provides laptop and wi-fi facility to registered students. Currently there are 6457 beneficiaries registered, 35 schools covered and 456 students completing their 20 hours training on basic and advance computer skills, finance management and other vocational courses. 456 students completed their certification course at HP Life portal.
Muskaan Vigyaanshala
To promote science education among students of primary and upper primary school, JBF in collaboration with the Agastya Foundation began the Muskaan Vigyaanshala project (Mobile Science Lab). Key topics covered in the project included - Astronomy & States of Matter which were explained through demo models. This session was organised for the Government school students of Tigaria Khadar, Khungawali, UPS - Kanya Gajraula, Bhanpur & Sihali Jageer.

The Yojana Kendra Initiative
The Yojana Kendra initiative by the JBF, aims to get the local community people linked with the various social security schemes announced by the state and central government. A total of 4997 people have been registered so far and 1984 people have received social security scheme cards in the Gajraula block. This program aims to witness multifold jump in the registrations in the coming days.

Nutrition Kits Distribution and Awareness Program for Pregnant Women
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF) initiated the distribution of nutrition kits and awareness campaign for pregnant women in Bhrauch. It is an initiative aimed at improving maternal and child health of the underserved. JBF's contribution through the distribution of nutrition kits is crucial in ensuring that pregnant women receive the necessary nutrition required for healthy foetus growth.
In addition to this noble cause, JBF's awareness campaigns (counselling sessions, health education programs, workshops on healthy eating habits) educate the pregnant women about the importance of proper nutrition during pregnancy.
End TB Project - Nutritional Kits Distribution
In collaboration with the District Tuberculosis Division of Bharuch, the JBF Bharuch team has committed to support over 55 active TB patients at the Derol Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC), Navetha PHC & Tankariya PHC for the next six months. The main goal of this program is to improve the nutrition & treatment outcome of TB patients coming from marginalized communities. This month, the JBF Bharuch team carried out the 5th Nutrition kits distribution drive for all the active TB patients. The program also included awareness campaigns on the importance of proper nutrition during TB treatment and the benefits of following a healthy diet.
Excellence Awards for the End TB Projects
JBF has been working tirelessly towards the ‘End TB cause’ and their efforts have been recognized and appreciated by various external organisations.
On March 18, 2023, JBF team attended the national conference on Fostering Partnerships to End TB. At the conference, the JBF Bharuch team was awarded by The Union & Deepak Foundation for outstanding activities such as TB awareness campaigns, symptomatic screenings, IEC drives and nutritional assistance for TB patients undergoing treatment.
On March 24, 2023, World Tuberculosis Day, Government Medical Association and the National Tuberculosis Association at Bharuch also recognized and appreciated Jubilant Bhartia Foundation's efforts in helping India become a TB-free nation.
Education
Digital Learning Through Project HP ALFA (Accessible Learning for All)
JBF in collaboration with HP India, launched the HP Alfa (Accessible Learning for All) project to bridge the digital divide and provide digital classrooms for secondary and higher secondary schools in remote areas with limited access to educational resources, thereby improving their access to digital learning. A total of 28 schools have been given resources such as digital screens, content devices, computers, printers and other digital devices to incorporate learning through technology. . The project's goal is to improve educational quality and fulfil students' educational and learning requirements. To help theteachers in using the training materials and digital classrooms,, the initiative will also offer teacher training programs in all schools.
School Bags Distribution at Vahalu Primary School
JBF recently organised a school bag distribution drive at the Vahalu Primary School, aimed at supporting education and promoting access to schooling. The distribution of school bags is a significant step towards ensuring that all children have the basic school supplies so that they can excel at academics. The students who cannot afford school bags due to financial constraints can now go to school with a happy mind-set. By supporting education and promoting access to schooling, JBF is making a positive impact in the lives of children and their families. JBF will continue such efforts to bring smiles on those innocent faces.
Participation at School Annual day & Farewell Program
The JBF Bharuch team was invited as the Chief Guests at the farewell ceremony of Karmad High School, Bharuch. They also attended the Annual Day celebrations at the Rahad Primary School, Vagra.
JBF team congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to pursue their dreams with determination and perseverance.
Similarly, at the Annual Day celebration, JBF applauded the efforts of the faculty and students in making the school a centre of academic and cultural excellence. The JBF Bharuch team also gave Muskaan Kitaab Ghar Kits to the students. The kids were ecstatic seeing the kits and the excitement on their faces was palpable These events not only provide a platform to JBF to interact with the schools but also help the team in creating awareness about the Foundation's initiatives to support education and community development.
LIVELIHOOD
Inauguration of Digital Community Information Resource Centres (CIRC)
JBF in collaboration with the Digital Empowerment Foundation, recently launched the Soochnapreneur project. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Anil Khubchandani (CO-CEO & Whole Time Director), Mr. Vijay Shrivastav (COO), Mr. Atul Sharma (Site Head), Mr. Tushar Desai (HR Head) and Mr. Alkesh Rana (PR Head), who handed over the asset to all the Soochnapreneurs and discussed the impact of the project.
The Soochnapreneur project focuses on social entrepreneurship in rural India using wireless technology and mobile devices in the underdeveloped areas.. It also focuses on livelihood, skill development and employability of rural women/youth and providing public and private information services to rural clients on need-based, relevant and affordable manner.
Through this initiative, 10 women from Vagra Taluka, Bharuch were trained and equipped with digital tools like laptops and printers to set up their own centres and provide a range of services to the local community. The Soochnapreneur project is expected to have a significant impact in the rural areas by promoting self-employment, digital literacy, and access to various government schemes and services.
RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Donation of Scrap Computers
JBF recently made a notable contribution by donating company’s scrap computers to Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Ankot and Primary Health Care (PHC) Derol. The donation was aimed at improving the education and healthcare facilities.
The donation of scrap computers to ITI Ankot is expected to have a significant impact on the students' education and skill development. It will enable the students to learn essential computer skills that are crucial for their careers. Also, the donation is expected to promote digital literacy in the region, and bridging the digital divide.
Similarly, the donation of scrap computers to PHC Derol is expected to improve the quality of healthcare services available to the local community. The computers will enable the hospital to maintain electronic medical records, manage inventory and provide online consultations.

Muskaan Kitaab Ghar
Muskaan Kitaab Ghar is an employee engagement initiative where our employees across the Jubilant Bhartia Group companies endeavour to support the schools in setting of the reading rooms. The employee volunteers distributed 116 kits at the schools of Gujarat. The distribution drive was done in their surrounding villages and NGOs. Mr. CB Bhardwaj - Chief of Manufacturing (Jubilant Ingrevia Limited) felicitated the participant employees for their efforts and fulfilling their personal social responsibility. Muskaan Kitaab Ghar Kit in Savli contains 87 books in English and Gujarati language. Jubilant’s Library management system is provided to these schools for free of cost.
World TB Day Celebration - Distribution of Nutrition Kits
On the occasion of the World Tuberculosis awareness day (24th March 2023) JBF, Savli organised a TB awareness session for TB patients and their family members. JBF is supporting 60 TB patients across 3 PHCs (Primary Health Centre) with monthly nutrition support and awareness sessions. Since its inception in October 2022, the default rate (patients leaving the treatment) has significantly come down and weight gain in patients has seen improvement.
Soochnapreneur Project - Inauguration of Computer Centres
JBF Savli in association with the DEF (Digital Empowerment Foundation) inaugurated 10 community computer centres at village level. The soochnapreneurs will disburse simple cyber services and information regarding government schemes. This will not only provide basic digital literacy but also increase the enrollment of villagers in various schemes.

Training Program for Science Teachers at Bharuch
JBF and the Agastya Foundation organised a four-day training for the science teachers of primary schools to strengthen rural government primary education system. The training aims to empower teachers and students of Government schools to make the process of learning more interesting, simple and effective. It will also help in providing hands on experiential engagement for the students.
The trainers explained many of the exhibits such as pendulum, forces, light bulb charging, sound, wavelength project, chemistry titrations etc. This training also offers interactive and activity based learning among the students and teachers
International Women’s Day 2023
On the occasion of International Women’s Day Jubilant Ingrevia Limited and JBF celebrated International Women’s Day at the Jubilant Ingrevia Limited’s residential premises in Nira.
The purpose of celebrating the Women’s Day was to raise awareness on cancer, recycling of plastic waste and to encourage the students for competitive exam.
Dr. Sharmila Inamke, Dr. Varsha Sidhaye, Ms. Suvarna Nimbalkar were present as the guests of the program and Mrs. Sangita Jadhav (Admin), Ms. Shyamala Bhat (Colony Representative), Mrs. Uttara Raghav, Mrs. Alka Korade and all Jubilant women employees were present to brighten up the special occasion..
Community Interface Meet 2022- 23
On 11 March, 2023, a Community Interface Meet was organised by Jubilant Ingrevia Limited and JBF at Nira which received an enthusiastic response. Mr. Sadashiv Survase, Joint Director of District Industrial Centre was present as the chief guest.
The program started with the lightening of the lamp. In the beginning, Mr. Isak Mujawar (Senior Manager - Public Relations, Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, Nira) welcomed the attendees and briefed about Jubilant Bhartia Group. After that Mr. Ajay Dhage (CSR, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation) briefed about all the CSR initiatives. Mr. Deepak Sontakke (HR Head, Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, Nira) gave information about the HR initiatives. Mr. Vikas Barot explained about GST, Mr. Nishant Phad (EHS Head, Jubilant Ingrevia, Limited, Nira) guided about safety concern. Mr. Sadashiv Survase (Joint Director of District Industrial Centre) and Mr. G. K. Raman (Head Corporate Affairs, Noida) shared their thoughts as well.
The security and safety drills were showcased and the program ended with a Q&A session conducted by Mr. Satish Bhat (VP and Site Head - Jubilant Ingrevia Limited. Nira) The program was coordinate by Ms. Sayali Funde (CSR).
At the end, the new CSR initiative called ‘Haqdarshak’ was also launched by the Chief Guest.
Mahila Mahotsav Celebrates Women Entrepreneurship Mahotsav
Organised by the JBF, Jubilant Ingrevia Limited Nira and Damini Gram Sangh, the Women Entrepreneurship Mahotsav had various stalls of food items, spices, handicrafts, amla products etc.
It was inaugurated by Dr. Anita Mohite (Director Bharti Vidyapeeth Social Science Centre, Pune), Ms. Deepa Rakshe (Psychologist and Counselor at Spandan)), Mr. G.K. Raman (Head Corporate Affairs), Mr. Satish Bhat (VP (O) and Site Head. The Heads of CSR, PR, Admin, EHS were present along with Jubilant Kamgar Union Officers.
The Mahotsav witnessed large participation from ladies. It provided a platform to local vendors to showcase their skills like specialization in healthy handmade food, traditional handicrafts & handlooms.

On the 18th March, 2023, an Aari work certificate distribution ceremony was held for the SHG women who successfully completed the basic training conducted by JBF.
