Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre & Mobile Dispensary Services
The community healthcare initiative run by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation provides public healthcare services in affordable, accessible, and equitable manner around 16 villages of our plant premises. Since its inception, our services have helped strengthen nearby basic healthcare facilities and empower the local populations to maintain their health. All underprivileged local residents who visit the Medical Centre and Mobile Dispensary get proper medical evaluation, medicines, and day-care services, as well as guidance and education on how to integrate healthier habits into their everyday lives. Our Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre and mobile dispensary services diagnosed and delivered medicine to a total of 2237 patients in the month of September 2023.





Swasth Prahari: Health Camp in Anganwadis
Swasth Prahari is a dedicated program aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of pregnant women, lactating mothers, children, and adolescent girls in the community. Anganwadi Health Checkup initiative aimed to address the critical issue of child malnutrition and promote the well-being of children in several villages, including Ankot, Vorasamni, Bhersam, Juned, Saladra, Rahad, Argama, Vahalu, and Sarnar. We aim to assess up to 300 children across all Anganwadis under this initiative.
One of the primary objectives of this health checkup program was to collect updated data on the height and weight of Anganwadi children. This data is invaluable for identifying and addressing malnutrition issues at an early stage, enabling us to take necessary actions to improve the health and nutrition of these children.
The program received strong support from our employees as well. Several GET employees actively participated in the health checkup initiative, demonstrating our commitment to corporate social responsibility and our dedication to the communities we serve.






First Aid Day Awareness Programme
The First Aid Day Awareness Programme was held at ITI Ankot, organized by the JBF Team, Vilayat. Dr. Hemant Chauhan and Dr. Shailesh Nakum provided first-aid training to 84 students.
The training encompassed a wide array of topics, including the ability to assess situations, administer first aid for common injuries, and effectively call for professional assistance. Additionally, students were introduced to CPR techniques and practiced using defibrillators, equipping them with the skills to manage various common emergencies like choking, bleeding, and burns.
The engagement and enthusiasm displayed by the students were evident throughout the programme, reflecting their newfound understanding of how to both protect themselves and assist others in times of need. Overall, this initiative not only enriched the knowledge of those involved but also significantly contributed to raising awareness about the vital importance of First Aid training in our community



Food & Nutrition Awareness Program
The Food & Nutrition Awareness Program, initiated by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, is committed to enhancing the overall health and well-being of the community. This initiative promotes sustainable dietary habits and lifestyles across various population segments, empowering individuals and families to make informed nutritional choices.
The program operates in five villages: Vilayat, Vorasamini, Ankot, Rahad, and Karmad, spanning primary schools, high schools, anganwadis, and the wider community.
Pretest sessions were conducted in these villages, involving 761 primary and high school students, along with 50 mothers, to assess dietary habits, lifestyles, and maternal nutrition/IYCF (Infant and Young Child Feeding) practices.
Upcoming sessions will engage students and mothers through interactive activities and games, emphasizing the significance of nutrition, healthy diets, and the importance of avoiding unhealthy packaged and junk foods. Following these activities, we will delve into practical application and competition-based sessions.




Swasth Baal Competition (Healthy Child Competition)
The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organized a Swasth Baal Competition at Vagra, aligning with the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) center's objectives. This initiative was undertaken with the principal objective of raising awareness about malnutrition among children, ensuring their access to nutritious food, and promoting healthy lifestyles. The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Ranjan, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), alongside various health officers, Anganwadi workers, children, and their mothers.
During the event, the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation extended their support by felicitating 12 Swath Baals (Healthy Children) with gifts. Dr. Shailesh Nakum, Deputy Manager CSR, addressed the Anganwadi workers and parents to stress the importance of ensuring the nutritional health and well-being of the community's children.




School Health Camps
In an effort to prioritize the health and well-being of rural students, the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Bharuch Health Team organized school health camps in Ankot Primary School located within the Vagra Block of Bharuch district. This initiative provided vital health check-ups and hygiene awareness to 46 students in grades 5 to 8, with active participation from our GET employees, ensuring comprehensive health assessments and guidance.




Muskaan Monthly Activity - General Knowledge Quiz
Muskaan Activities is an initiative that seeks to promote creativity and innovation among young minds within government schools. These activities are thoughtfully structured and implemented as per a yearly schedule, with each month featuring a distinct theme aimed at enhancing and enriching extracurricular learning experiences
This month, the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Bharuch team successfully organized General Knowledge Quiz Competitions across 15 Government Primary Schools in the Vagra Block of Bharuch district. The objective of conducting "General Knowledge Quiz" was increasing students' awareness of India’a history, politics, geography, and current affairs, contributing to their development as informed and responsible citizens. These quiz competitions earned praise from parents and teachers, highlighting their positive impact on students' knowledge and engagement. The contributions of our GET employees were essential to the organization of quiz competitions in all schools, enabling us to successfully conduct these events. Their active participation was instrumental in the success of this endeavor.
Mr. Alkesh Rana, Public Relations Officer, Jubilant Infrastructure Limited, and Dr. Hemant Chauhan, Senior Manager, OHC, graced the Quiz Competition hosted at one of our schools with their distinguished presence. Their presence made the event more special, and they rewarded the Quiz Competition Winners with prizes and certificates.





Khushiyon Ki Pathshala: Training of Trainers
Project Khushiyon Ki Pathshala, an initiative led by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF), is dedicated to enhancing the quality of education in schools. This project empowers young individuals and teachers to become Master Trainers, who then play a crucial role as agents of positive change in our society. Through their voluntary efforts, these Master Trainers implement comprehensive Value Education and 21st-century life skills programs in Government Primary Schools, addressing important themes such as Gender Empowerment, Leadership, and Goal-Oriented Mentoring to empower students to pursue their dreams.
To ensure the project's continued effectiveness, project coordinators participate in yearly refresher training sessions. These sessions also involve reviewing and adapting the project modules to meet the evolving needs of today's generation. This month, a comprehensive 3-day training program for project coordinators was conducted. During this training, project modules were thoroughly reviewed, new project coordinators received refresher training, and tools for assessing the project's impact were developed.


Muskaan Vigyanshaala: Micro Science Lab
The Muskaan Vigyanshaala: Micro Science Lab project is designed to nurture a passion for science among students from rural backgrounds. Under this initiative, the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF) has established Muskaan Vigyanshaala: Micro Science Labs in eight government primary schools within the Bharuch region.
The implementation of Science Labs has significantly enhanced the overall learning experience for students, making science education into an enjoyable and engaging journey. Science teachers at these schools regularly conduct science classes with students, resulting in heightened engagement characterized by increased curiosity, creativity, and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.
The Smart TVs provided by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation are also valuable for conducting science classes in schools. These TVs are used to showcase science videos, and practical experiments are carried out with the assistance of science lab equipment also provided by the Foundation.



Science Exhibitions
The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation actively participated in science exhibitions held at Ankot Primary School, Sherpura Primary School, and Karmaad Primary School. These exhibitions were a resounding success, attracting students from various schools. The students demonstrated their creativity and innovation through a diverse range of scientific projects.
The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Bharuch team's CSR Coordinators had the honor of being invited as the Chief Guest for these events. They took great pleasure in recognizing and celebrating the achievements of over 195 students who participated in the Science Exhibitions across all three schools. The students were awarded certificates and prizes to acknowledge their efforts and inspire them to pursue their scientific interests further.
The JBF Bharuch team's CSR Coordinators remain dedicated to supporting science education within the district and are committed to helping students reach their full potential in the field of science.
Dr. Hemant Chauhan, Senior Manager at OHC, graced one of the science and math exhibitions with his presence and awarded prizes and certificates to the students.






Balvatika Shala Praveshotsav
Balvatika Shala Praveshotsav is a celebration of the enrollment of new students in Balvatika, a pre-primary school in Gujarat. The celebration was held at Karmad Primary School with GET employees.
32 new students who took admission in Balvatika were presented with joining kits. The joining kits included school supplies, such as lunch box, pencil box, and water bottle, as well as a bag.
The GET employees who attended the festivities at the schools were overjoyed to be a part of this wonderful occasion. They interacted with the new students, and they helped to make the day special for everyone involved.




Farmers Empowerment Project
The Farmers Empowerment Project, a collaboration between the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Bharuch and FarmBridge Foundation, is dedicated to enhancing income generation in agriculture through value addition. This project's primary objectives include educating rural farmers in diverse farming techniques, offering livelihood support, and fostering innovative agricultural practices to empower farmers.
This month, we organized awareness sessions to educate the farmers of our 10 villages about Nano Fertilizers. District officials from IFFCO Company were present to provide special capacity-building training to the farmers. In our next intervention, we will facilitate the distribution of Nano Fertilizers to the farmers, which will reduce their chemical input by 90% without compromising production.




Soochnapreneur: Digital Community Project
The Soochnapreneur Project, a joint initiative of the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation and the Digital Empowerment Foundation, aims to connect rural residents with public and private information services, social security schemes, and government schemes announced by the state and central governments in a need-based, contextual, and affordable manner, as well as to increase their access to basic cyber services and digital literacy. Additionally, it emphasizes the livelihood, skill-building, and employability of rural youth and women.
Under this program, ten women from Vagra Taluka, Bharuch, have been enrolled as Soochnapreneurs. They have undergone training and received digital resources such as laptops and printers to establish their own centres and offer a wide range of services to the community.
The Soochnapreneurs' Community Service Centres, skilfully run by dedicated Soochnapreneurs, efficiently meet the needs of the local community. These centres provide essential services and information, facilitating substantial income for the Soochnapreneurs. The Soochnapreneur Project exemplifies the transformative potential of grassroots initiatives, empowering individuals and strengthening the fabric of rural society.
This month, we also conducted a meeting with all Soochnapreneurs to review the status of their Community Service Centres in their villages, discuss their challenges, and develop future plans.





Project Nayee Disha: Vocational Trainings at Bharuch & Vilayat Skill Upgradation Centres (SUC)s
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, in collaboration with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), a Government of Gujarat organization, has been running two Skill Upgradation Centres (SUC) at Bharuch and Vilayat since 2019, providing skill-based training to local community members with the intention of increasing employability in the community.
At the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation's Skill Upgradation Centres in Vilayat and Bharuch, a wide array of skill training courses are offered, covering various skill sets including Tailoring, Beautician, and Basic Computer-Tally. These courses are carefully designed to enable sustainable livelihood generation for individuals within the community.
Recently, we have launched Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) and Electrician courses at our SUC Bharuch in partnership with Thermax. A total of 23 candidates have enrolled in the COPA course, and 25 candidates have enrolled in the Electrician course. These six-month courses will teach students the skills they need to succeed in these high-demand fields. Graduates of these courses will be absorbed into nearby Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) companies, where they will play a vital role in supporting the state's growing industrial sector.

Nutrition Awareness Project Through Internship Project, 2023
The project ‘Nutrition Awareness Program Through Internship’ has been started. To be noted, the month of ‘September’ is celebrated as ‘Poshan Maah’. The project aims to raise awareness about the basic nutrition needs among school students, through community participation by creating internship opportunities. The project has been started based on the baseline research conducted in U.P.S Sultanther, by conducting random sampling among the 110 students of 6th, 7th, and 8th where the assessed understanding of the school students about nutritional needs through a questionnaire tool, stands to be 3.43, out of 10. Under the project, the awareness sessions have been conducted in UPS Basaili, Composite Choubara Gajraula.

Nutrition Poshan Kit Distribution, 2023
Nutrition Poshan project aims to deliver aid and outreach to the communities to combat the issue of prevalent malnutrition among the communities. The project provides ration kits for the consecutive tenure of 3 months to the children inflicted by malnutrition disease. The physical growth of the children is regularly monitored during the tenure. The project runs with the assistance of the local Child Development and Protection Officers.
To kick start the project 50 kits in Hasanpur block of Amroha are distributed in assistance with the Child Development and Protection Officer, Hasanpur. Visited chief guests constituted Block Pramukh, Mamata Gurjar, SDM Brijpal Singh, and representative from the side of MLA Devendra Kharhagvanshi.


Ante-natal Care Paractices Awareness Program
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Gajraula has started the ‘Ante Natal Care Awareness Program’ , where Dr Neha visits Anganwadi premises to raise awareness on prevalent anaemia and gestational care practices among the pregnant women. The Program is lined to cater at least 15 anganwadi centres to connect the rural medical force with medical resources.



Kisaan Ghoshti, Grameen Samridhhi Kendra 2023
Joint initiative of the JBF and B-able foundation to create a one-stop solution for the farmers from where they can purchase cattle feed and animal nutrition products through Kisan Samridhi Kendras (KSK) under a registered company in the best interest of farmer beneficiaries. Also, the trainings are facilitated on cattle feed, animal nutrition and farming techniques at GSK.
GSK aims to organize an ecosystem to generate livelihood opportunities to aid the cattle feed consumerism. The kisaan ghoshti had been organized to organize farmer community to induce them about the project and produce marketing and branding platforms for the products developed under the project.



Community Meet Basaili, 2023
With the objective of enabling communities’ welfare, the project ‘Jan Suvidha Kendra’ in collaboration with HaqDarshak runs in Gajraula. The projects aim at connecting the eligible members of the communities to the respective welfare schemes of central and State governments. The project has been highly successful for facilitating more than 4000 applications towards the received benefits of the various government schemes.
To provide appreciation to the ground field team, and beneficiaries of the project, a community meet was organized in Basaili where beneficiaries were felicitated by Gram Pradhan.

Nayee Disha- Financial Literacy and Soap Making
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Savli, in association with Wings to Fly Foundation organised two training for the women of Juna Samlaya and Pasva Village (Vadodara)- Financial Literacy and Soap Making. The Financial literacy was a first of its kinf training for women to plan and manage their family income, expense and savings wisely. The soap making workshop was a market linked project in which women have started taking orders and already made Rs 6000.




Career Counselling Inauguration at Savli High School
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, Savli in association with unifiers inaugurated the career counselling program for High school students at Savli High School. In this program, 1400 students of Savli across 8 High schools will be receiving career guidance form experts.
These students are of 9th and 11th std.



Khushiyon Ki Paathshala- Cohort 2
Jubilant Bhartia foundation is tailoring a children centric program with teachers acting as facilitators .the project will train Teachers &Muskaan fellows on making the school more inclusive and to create value based society with children friendly while at the same time giving equal attention to moulding their personality . At Savli, the second cohort of teachers training took place across 2 days in the Block resource centre with 53 teachers. In this training, teachers learned and discussed points on facilitation, values, etc.


Taluka Level Primary School Science Fair
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, BRC, DIET and KJIT jointly organised a Taluka level Science,Math and Environment competition at Primary school level across Savli taluka. With 280 participants this was the biggest competition at Savli till date. The program was inaugurated by MLA Ketan Inamdar and Zilla Panchayat Adhyaksh Gayatriben who commended and honoured JBF for it's efforts
