Enabling Pillars of Pinnacle Strategy

Driving Growth with Focussed Strategy

Enabling Pillars of Pinnacle Strategy

Our Pinnacle strategy is our long-term growth blueprint, focussed on scaling Specialty and Nutrition businesses, deepening CDMO penetration, expanding into priority global markets, and building a portfolio of high-margin, differentiated products. These ambitions are anchored in five strategic pillars – Customer Centricity, Innovation, World-class Safe Operations, Sustainability and People, embedded across our businesses and translating strategy into day-to-day execution and measurable value for all stakeholders.

Five Strategic Pillars

  • Customer
    Centricity

  • Innovation
    and Technology

  • World-Class
    Safe Operations

  • Sustainability

  • People-Focussed

Overview

Customers come to us with different demands – regulatory expectations, scale-up timelines, supply continuity requirements, and evolving downstream applications. Customer centricity means we organise our portfolio, teams and decision-making around real operating needs across pharmaceuticals, nutrition, agrochemicals, Personal Care and industrial segments, supported by 35+ chemistry platforms and customised solutions aligned with global standards.

Building Deeper, Long-Term Partnerships

The strongest relationships are built when we understand not just what customers need today, but what they are building next. Our Key Account Management approach is designed to keep that line of sight so that engagement moves from transactional fulfilment to longer-horizon planning around compliance pathways, capacity needs and supply continuity. Our customer engagement is built around leadership-level conversations and structured follow-through, creating momentum that converts into new pathways for collaboration across segments.

Capabilities that Enable Customer Centricity

Customer expectations only translate into outcomes when execution systems can deliver reliably and repeatedly. Customer centricity is therefore reinforced through technical depth and delivery discipline, particularly in how we engage beyond product supply and into service-led collaboration. This capability-building is reflected in the deliberate strengthening of account management and technical support expertise, and in the expansion of customer development pipelines through deeper engagement.

Regional Focus and Discipline in Execution

Proximity improves clarity. Regional business development hubs in the United States, Europe and Japan help keep customer conversations closer to where regulatory expectations, supply-chain realities and market dynamics are shaped, so that the plans we build match operating conditions on the ground.

At the same time, quality and compliance are treated as non-negotiable, especially in regulated markets and long-horizon programmes. This combination of local context and disciplined execution is what sustains continuity as customer needs evolve across cycles.

Overview

Innovation at Jubilant Ingrevia is built to take ideas from lab benches to commercial reality – safely, repeatably and at scale. Three advanced R&D centres in India (Greater Noida, Gajraula and Bharuch) and a “science-to-scale” validation approach help convert complex chemistry into dependable products, programmes and platforms.

R&D Footprint and Capabilities

Our R&D footprint is designed to reduce scale-up uncertainty before a process reaches manufacturing. The Gajraula pilot plant evaluates reactions across a wide range of pressures and temperatures, and candidates move forward only after hazard reviews, process audits and quality checks, creating a disciplined bridge from experimentation to execution.

Science-Driven Platforms and Pipeline

Innovation is anchored in proprietary chemistry platforms and a sustained pipeline of development work.

Strong Chemistry Capability

We have 45+ years of experience in handling chemical chemistries at 1000s-ton scale.

Innovation in CDMO and Emerging Segments

Innovation is tightly linked to customer programmes, particularly CDMO and the emerging semiconductor chemicals vertical. We have implemented AI-based retrosynthesis tools for faster route design and impurity prediction. In CDMO, late-phase and launch-stage collaborations are supported through validation and transfer in the Bharuch GMP facility, with validation batches already taken forward for DMF filings in regulated markets.

Overview

World-class, safe operations underpin how we run plants, manage risk and earn trust in regulated value chains. This commitment is driven through Project JIVAN (Jubilant Ingrevia’s Vision for Actionable Net-positivity), linking business performance with safety, compliance and sustainability disciplines embedded across sites and processes.

World-class Manufacturing Facilities

Our manufacturing footprint is built for scale, multi-chemistry execution and consistency, anchored in integrated sites that serve distinct portfolios and customer industries. With world-class manufacturing facilities located in India equipped to handle complex and hazardous reactions, multi-purpose operations, and large-volume production, we have the scale needed to serve global markets efficiently. Continuous process improvements and automation ensure high yields, low waste, and dependable delivery.

Digitally-Enabled Operations

Digitalisation connects R&D, operations, and governance to speed decision-making while improving control. It is used to make operations safer, more consistent, and more traceable by reducing manual intervention in hazardous areas and stabilising process conditions through real-time monitoring and analytics. Digitalisation continues to integrate R&D, manufacturing, supply chain and corporate functions, enabling faster decision-making, stronger governance, and enhanced operational control. Through advanced analytics, AI/GenAI capabilities and connected operations, the Company is improving safety, reliability, traceability and productivity across the value chain.

Building on the digital foundation established through SURGE, the Digital Centre of Excellence launched the SuperNOVA Digital Transformation Programme in FY 2026 to drive the next phase of enterprise-wide digital and AI adoption. Key interventions include Manufacturing DnA initiatives, GenAI enabled R&D acceleration, AI-powered sourcing and procurement, predictive analytics, digital twins, intelligent project monitoring, smart manufacturing solutions and emerging Agentic AI use cases.

These initiatives are creating a scalable digital foundation for sustained value creation, productivity enhancement and innovation across the enterprise.

Safety Culture and Governance

We maintain full regulatory compliance across all manufacturing, production, and quality domains. Our compliance management system, integrated with real-time monitoring via a conformity tool, ensures transparency and responsiveness.

We have implemented Responsible Care under the ACC programme (RC 14001:2015) and maintain various management standards, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 across sites. The flagship Project Apollo drives a zero-harm culture, shifting from compliance-led behaviour to proactive ownership through risk identification, reporting and mitigation at every level. We received British Safety Council Award for three manufacturing locations.

Supply Chain Resilience & Reliability

Our backward-integrated and digitally-enabled supply chain is built to deliver cost predictability, uninterrupted supply and responsible sourcing across global markets. With in-house manufacturing of critical base materials and forward integration into advanced intermediates and active ingredients, we minimise dependency risks and strengthen long-term supply assurance. Strategically located manufacturing facilities in India, supported by global storage hubs in Europe and South Korea, ensure continuity even in volatile environments. Through advanced digital procurement, automation and predictive analytics, we enhance real-time visibility across procurement, logistics and supplier performance, enabling faster decision-making, reduced turnaround time and improved delivery reliability.

Overview

Sustainability at Jubilant Ingrevia is built into how we run our sites, design processes and engage across the value chain so that our growth is coupled with measurable progress in environmental stewardship, social responsibility and governance.

We believe in transparently disclosing our goals, actions, and progress as we aim to build lasting trust and ensure that our stakeholders’ evolving expectations continue to be integrated with our strategic decisions. This approach helps us stay accountable, value-driven and purposeful so that every action that we take adds towards a more sustainable and resilient future.

Environmental Impact Metrics

We measure environmental performance across energy, emissions, water and waste to ensure that improvements are specific, trackable and scalable across sites and processes. We track sustainability through clear targets and measurable performance. Under the CO2 renewables arrangement, we plan to source 50% of the Bharuch site’s energy from renewables, contributing to our company-wide target of achieving 35% of total energy from green power. Across our sites, 45% of process water is recycled, and three out of five sites have achieved zero liquid discharge.

Social Responsibility Programmes

Across the communities around our manufacturing locations, we focus on practical, long-term outcomes – stronger access to healthcare, better learning environments for children, and skills that improve employability and income stability along with promoting social entrepreneurship. These programmes are implemented through our CSR arm, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, with a focus on health, education, sustainable livelihoods and the environment. Our CSR approach is anchored in inclusion – 100% of CSR beneficiaries are from vulnerable and marginalised groups.

We prioritise communities in and around our sites, working across 32 villages in 4 districts and 3 states, covering a surrounding population of 4.3 lakh. Alongside on-ground programmes, we also promote employee volunteering and structured community engagement to support local development.

Governance & Ethics

Responsible business conduct is sustained through formal policies, training, accessible grievance mechanisms and oversight, supporting a workplace and operating environment that is accountable and compliant. Our sustainability reporting and ESG governance are reinforced through recognised frameworks, and our disclosures include commitments such as zero tolerance for discrimination and structured Code of Conduct practices and channels.
